Get Pre-Approved

Whether you decide to use one of Alisa's recommended lenders or your own preferred lender, getting a Pre-Approval Letter is the most important next step. A Pre-Approval Letter will help set the right expectations for all and assist with the acceptance of an offer. Feel free to reach out to Alisa for a list of recommended lenders.

Start the Search

Once a Pre-Approval Letter is received, Alisa can start the search! She will keep an eye out for homes that would be a solid match on a daily basis (based upon your specific goals) and will send any that might be a good fit, for your review. Alisa welcomes buyers to also forward any properties that they might see outside of her recommendations, so that both parties are working together as a team.

Tour Homes

Once you and Alisa have narrowed down your search to a few different homes that you would like to see in person (normally 3-5), Alisa will schedule private back-to-back tours for each.

Submit an Offer

Making an offer is super exciting! Alisa will help provide the best guidance in getting your offer accepted in the current market.

Earnest Money Deposit, Home Inspections, & Appraisal

Your offer is accepted and now it's time for your earnest money to be deposited, inspections completed, and the appraisal ordered. Inspections are extremely important and highly recommended when buying a home, even when buying new construction. Getting the home inspected ensures that your are buying a home that meets your expectations.

Signing Day & Closing

Settlement is the day all parties need to sign by. Alisa will help coordinate things so that they are as convenient as possible for you, including an out-of-state closing if needed. Kindly plan on setting aside approximately 45 minutes to an hour for Settlement. After signing, Closing (Funding and Recording) generally takes place within 1-2 business days; the Lender does however have up to 4 calendar days to fund and record per the contract and if needed.

Move In Day!

Upon Closing (Funding and Recording), you will get your keys and move-in day can begin! It will be important to switch over utilities and connect with the HOA, if there is one, at this time.
